Precision-Engineered Interior Architectural Door Solutions for Global Projects, Wholesalers & Brands
Modern PVC wrapped composite doors rely on a multi-tier structural design. Unlike simple solid wood or hollow core doors, our composite structure utilizes a cross-banded composition. This combines an internal solid wood framework—typically seasoned, finger-jointed pine—with structural fillers such as high-density tubular particle board, mineral wool, or cellular honeycomb cores.
This core is sandwiched between two layers of premium Medium-Density Fiberboard (MDF) or High-Density Fiberboard (HDF). By decoupling the fiber orientation, the panel neutralizes cross-grain tension. The result is a structural core that resists warping, bowing, or twisting, even when subjected to extreme relative humidity variations.
Delamination is the primary point of failure for low-grade PVC wrapped doors. To solve this, our production lines utilize Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) hot-melt adhesive technology instead of traditional water-based EVA glue.
PUR adhesives form initial physical bonds as they cool, followed by a secondary chemical cross-linking reaction with atmospheric moisture. This molecular change forms an irreversible thermoset polymer structure. The resulting adhesive line is fully waterproof, steam-resistant, and chemically inert, ensuring the PVC wrap remains permanently bonded in high-temperature environments or wet zones like kitchens and bathrooms.
The external layer features specialized rigid or semi-rigid PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) laminates, ranging in thickness from 0.14mm to 0.40mm. Engineered with anti-UV stabilizers and high-scratch resistance topcoats, these foils act as an impermeable shield.
The non-porous surface blocks water vapor transmission, preventing organic fungal growth and wood rot. In addition, the surface resists household solvents, staining agents, and abrasive impacts, providing an easy-to-clean solution that meets fire rating codes (e.g., Class B-s1, d0 classification under EN 13501-1).
Zhejiang Larsom Door Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturer specializing in the research, development, production, and global sales of high-quality security doors, armored doors, steel-wood doors, and customized entrance door solutions. Since our establishment, we have been committed to providing customers around the world with safe, durable, and stylish door products.
Today, our company operates a modern manufacturing facility covering more than 16,000 square meters, supported by an experienced team of over 160 skilled employees. With advanced production management and efficient manufacturing systems, our daily production capacity exceeds 200 sets of premium doors, enabling us to meet both large-scale projects and customized orders with reliable delivery.
To continuously improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency, Larsom Door has invested heavily in advanced automated production equipment. This includes CNC laser cutting machines, CNC bending machines, automatic welding systems, high-speed turret punching machines, automatic sanding machines, and modern powder coating lines. These advanced systems, combined with strict quality control procedures, ensure that every door meets international quality standards.
Quality is the foundation of our business. Larsom Door strictly implements comprehensive quality management throughout every production process, from raw material selection to final inspection. Our products comply with international quality standards and have earned an excellent reputation among customers worldwide. Today, we export to more than 130 countries and regions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia.
Zhejiang is the global hub for door manufacturing. This cluster gives us direct, local access to raw timber, specialty polymers, advanced PVC foils, and premium hardware. By sourcing materials locally, we eliminate internal logistics markups and control raw material costs, passing those savings directly to our buyers.
With on-site CNC tooling, digital printing, and advanced membrane pressing, we customize every detail. Whether you need custom acoustic internal cores (STC ratings), unique PVC wood-grain colors, specific lock mortising prep, or custom packaging solutions, we tailor our production lines to match your project parameters.
We follow strict international quality protocols. Our factory processes are ISO9001 certified, and our door products carry CE certifications. We use eco-friendly materials that comply with formaldehyde emission classes (E1/CARB Phase 2), meeting European and North American building code requirements.
For hospitality projects, interior doors must provide excellent sound isolation and match high-end design aesthetics. Our PVC wrapped composite doors feature customized internal tubular particle cores that achieve an STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating of up to 32dB. Wrapped in scratch-resistant, textured wood-grain foils, these doors offer the look and feel of real wood without the high cost or maintenance.
High-density multi-family projects need doors that offer long-term durability and cost efficiency. Our PVC composite doors resist warping and impact, making them perfect for rental units. Standardized CNC manufacturing allows us to supply large-scale developments with short lead times, ensuring quick installation and consistent quality.
Bathrooms, basement apartments, and coastal properties present high humidity challenges. Standard wood doors swell and peel under these conditions. By utilizing waterproof WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) frames and vacuum-sealed PVC wraps with moisture-resistant PUR adhesives, we offer durable, swell-proof doors designed for wet areas.
We operate under a strict quality management system. Every batch of wood cores, MDF substrates, and PVC foils undergoes humidity testing, density checks, and thickness calibration before manufacturing.
Our CNC machines maintain a cutting tolerance of within ±0.5mm. After lamination, every door is inspected for air bubbles, surface blemishes, and edge bonding strength. We also verify hardware mortise dimensions against client templates before packaging to ensure a perfect fit on site.
For ocean freight, we protect our doors against humidity and physical impacts. Each door slab is wrapped in PE shrink wrap, fitted with reinforced corner guards, and packed in strong corrugated cartons.
We load doors on heavy-duty, fumigated pallets secured with tension strapping, optimizing container space to prevent shifting during transit. This careful planning reduces shipping costs and helps prevent damage during long-distance delivery.
